In short: no, not just any photo file. Upload the best quality .JPEG or .JPG that you have. Other tips we have: use colorspace sRBG and make sure your file doesn’t exceed the size limit of 100MB.
When you’re looking for a great photo to print and hang on the wall, make sure to use the original photo file. Especially if you’re using a photo that you didn’t take yourself, check if the image is at least 60PPI (points per inch).
Even though those photos you’ve seen on Facebook might in theory look fantastic on your wall, don’t just directly download and use the files you’ve found there. Facebook, Whatsapp and other (social media) sites use smaller file sizes to make their website work faster. That means that the quality of the images is severely reduced and this will show in your print.
