If you’re going to hang an enlarged photo on the wall, you really want it to be sharp. Sometimes it can be tricky to determine the sharpness of an image, especially when using a smaller screen. Here are our tips:
Zoom in
Zoom in until you’re viewing the photo on 100%. In Photoshop, check the lower left corner of the screen. Click on the percentage (if not yet 100%) and fill in 100.
Sharp enough is good enough
The photo doesn’t need to be perfect on 100%. You will view the photo print from a distance, so perfect sharpness is not necessary. It just needs to be sharp enough. Sharp enough is perfectly sharp from a little distance.
